3rd Line Support Specialist

For our prestigious client in the area of software development we are looking for 3rd Line Support Specialist.

Join the team for the projects with a large German automotive company abroad!

Responsibilities:

  • Working with customer processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management);
  • Service hours between 8:00 and 16:00 (German time), from Monday to Friday;
  • Communication and strong cooperation with the users and the customer;
  • Occasional meetings with the customer;
  • Daily meetings with the team;
  • Problem analysis and documentation;
  • Maintenance for the supported applications, which includes bug fixing and fixing errors of already implemented functionalities;
  • Performing root cause analysis;
  • Source code analysis;
  • Log analysis;
  • Taking over, analyzing and resolving issues and tickets that arise in daily business;
  • Creation of bugfix releases and upgrades for the applications;
  • Daily monitoring of the systems using monitoring tools (finding performance issues in time and solving the problems proactively);
  • Installation of regular releases and upgrades for the applications;
  • Configuration and optimization of the application and infrastructure;
  • Creating and continuously maintaining the documentation;
  • Administration of the tasks, cronjobs for the applications.

Requirements:
  • Java;
  • Oracle & SQL DB knowledge;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Good communication skills in English (B2/C1)  German skills (min. A2/B1);
  • Release & deployment management processes;
  • Incident management processes;
  • Problem management processes;
  • Knowledge management processes;
  • Change management processes;
  • Configuration and Asset Management processes;
  • Availability management processes
