For our prestigious client leader in forest industry we are looking for Business Control Manager. The business unit we are recruiting for create renewable and responsible wood-based alternatives for fossil-based materials utilizing our expertise in engineering, innovation and digitalization

We are looking for someone to join Business Control team who likes to look at things in a new way, brings a creative and collaborative working attitude and doesn't shy away from challenging the status quo. You will be working with many different stakeholders from various parts of the organization based in different parts of the world and you will play a crucial role in the Global Operations organization that is responsible for managing our global factory network

Main tasks:

• Support as a business partner and be a member of the Global Operations Management Team to drive performance in their respective areas and deliver efficiency & productivity gains
• Bring the Finance perspective to the discussion and ensure the development, implementation and follow-up of financial KPIs and that support our overarching strategic targets
• Provide advanced analytical support to various stakeholders and support them in gaining insight to the critical performance drivers
• Support the factories in planning investments, preparing the business case to Investment committee; active support during project implementation phase; project costs follow up; member of steering team
• Create business plans and simulations including capacity plans
• Act as a link between Finance and Business organization
• Own and manage global projects focused on cost, efficiency and productivity improvements
• Own the budgeting process and selected reporting tasks regarding Operations
• Leverage regional learnings and drive global process harmonization

• Requirements:

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration & Management, Engineering or a similar area
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in g. Management Consulting, M&A, Business Control, Financial Business partner role or similar
• You have very strong communication and project management skills and the ability to adjust your message to a variety of different audiences
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial modelling is a requirement
• Prior experience in working with manufacturing and/or business control is a plus but not a requirement
• You have a highly structured way of working and the capability to deal with significant complexity and a wide variety of tasks
• You have an independent working style with a very pro-active attitude and the capability to integrate in multiple, diverse teams
• You have the ability to influence in a matrix organization and solid networking skills
• You are comfortable in using and further developing advanced data analytics like Lavastorm, Tableau, PowerBI
• You are fluent in business English, other languages are an asset
