Financial Control Manager

For our prestigious client leader in forest industry we are looking for Financial Control Manager. The business unit we are recruiting for create renewable and responsible wood-based alternatives for fossil-based materials utilizing our expertise in engineering, innovation and digitalization.

Senior role ensuring high quality Financial and Management Accounting and Reporting service delivery. Compliant and on time Group, Statutory and Tax reporting as a service scope. Leading and developing expertized teams providing Financial and Management Accounting and Reporting services.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring very good collaboration with Financial Control Business analysis team as well as with Business Control teams establishing and maintaining well functioning governance models, roles and responsibilities.​
  • Active contribution to Finance and Control strategy ensuring compliance as high quality service delivery outcome. ​
  • Implementing quality process delivery contributing to Close and Consolidate process in own area including Knowledge center concept.​
  • Defining and delivering strategic focus areas as roles, competence development and continuous improvement in own area. Responsibility for quality resource management and operational business continuity plans.​
  • Responsible for quality, efficiency comparison and cost control activities​
  • Responsible for well-functioning governance models, stakeholder management and information sharing in own area​
  • Responsible for supporting own team in daily accounting and reporting tasks and activities​
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned by superior​

Requirements:

  • Master knowledge in financial and management accounting and reporting​
  • Good leadership and people management skills​
  • Good change management capabilities and coaching skills​
  • Good influencing and collaboration skills in global organization and ability to summarize essentials to stakeholders​
  • Good prioritization and risk management and mitigation capabilities ​
  • Ability to understand and lead complexities ​
  • Experience of similar industry and business processes are considered as a major asset​
  • IFRS knowledge, Polish GAAP knowledge is a benefit​
  • Fluency in English, other language skills are a benefit​
  • At least bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of experience​
