For our prestigious client leader in forest industry we are looking for Financial Control Senior Manager. The business unit we are recruiting for create renewable and responsible wood-based alternatives for fossil-based materials utilizing our expertise in engineering, innovation and digitalization.
Senior role ensuring high quality Financial and Management Accounting and Reporting service delivery for Company. Compliant and on time Group, Statutory and Tax reporting as a service scope. Leading and developing expertized teams providing Financial and Management Accounting and Reporting services.
Main responsibilities:
- Active contribution to business areas Business Control strategy ensuring compliance as high quality service delivery outcome for the business
- Implementing quality process delivery by leading Close and Consolidate process in own area including Knowledge center concept
- Defining and delivering strategic focus areas as roles, competence development and continuous improvement in own area.
- Responsibility for quality resource management and operational business continuity plans.
- Responsible for quality, efficiency comparison and cost control activities
- Responsible for well-functioning governance models, stakeholder management and information sharing in own area
- Leading through data including performance metrics defined, implemented and actioned for continuous learning, expertise and development in defined process area and ensuring up to date Knowledge center in own area.
- Contribute together with Finance Operations managers accounting activities around defined process area are meeting SLA expectations.
- Enabling end-to-end process development by efficient process management including group, statutory and tax view. Empowered to work across organization and business stakeholders.
- Managing C&C risks in close co-operation with process control owners.
- Validates & approves proposed changes to the process before implementation. Maintaining Process Guidelines and RACI and escalating exceptions identified in global policy to Finance Director and Finance Policy Owner
- Participating projects with strong project management skills. Identification of prospects and ensuring development roadmap in own process area.
- Strong collaboration with key stakeholders such as Finance Development, Group Finance, Group Tax, Business control and Outsourcing partners
