Pricing Analyst

For our prestigious client leader in the forest industry, we are looking for a Pricing Analyst. 

What will you do:
  • Conduct analyses and simulations to roll out and maintain pricing model across regions; continuous calibration of key pricing parameters for optimized price setting according to commercial strategy
  • Build financial models to support the business and help make profitable decisions, as well as enhance reporting for a deeper understanding of regional profit and loss
  • Participate in maintaining and developing pricing system together with main stakeholders:  product owners, Sales, BC, and system key users, as well as be part of the ‘price excellence team’
  • Conduct monthly pricing review meetings with key sales and stakeholders
  • Support price monitoring, margin management, and management reporting: derive steering metrics and KPI, conduct analysis on pricing performance, deviations, and possible areas for improvement
  • Drive analysis and reporting of rebate and payment terms reporting
  • Act as expert and key user when it comes to the pricing system
  • Provide pricing expertise and training related to the pricing process, systems
  • Daily troubleshooting and support in pricing issues; key user of Salesforce support requests related to the pricing
  • Support in price decision-making for large international accounts through analysis
  • Gather feedback on needed process or system development items for solutions development
  • Ad hoc tasks, duties, and special projects that arise

Who are you:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, having extensive education in accounting, finance & business.
  • Ability to formulate and understand business issues and situations by analyzing, simulation, and able to interpret, and draw conclusions accordingly.
  • Individuals must be self-motivated, with the ability to adapt effectively to changing demands of a growth-oriented, dynamic organization. 
  • Have excellent communication oral & written skills, and have demonstrated skills to collaborate, influence, and efficiently cooperate with all parts of the organization.
  • Have positive thinking & can-do attitude, be solution-oriented, and have good interpersonal skills
  • Should be able to work across organizational boundaries e.g., with Commercial Development, Sales Leaders, and own finance line management. This implies this role should have adequate organizational agility and maturity.
