About the role: Senior SAP Business Intelligence Consultant
To support our client Corporate IT department and global SAP team, we are looking for a committed person with experience in SAP BI area.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, you will work in projects and also taking over operational tasks. Your focus would be the development and maintenance of data models in BW/4 HANA environment. In addition, you will also contribute to the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC ) development.
You will be part of an international team of 5 people across different time zones. You are motived to drive daily operations, provide recommendations, and take the initiative to ensure a stable and future proof reporting landscape.

Your tasks

• Development of data models in our BW/4 HANA landscape based on LSA++ architecture.
• Implementation and adjustments of Calculation Views.
• Use of AMDPs to design performant data loading processes.
• Analyzing data in the SAP system to design data models.
• Small adjustments in existing SAC dashboards.
• Ensure a stable operation, by solving incidents from the business.
• Collaborate closely with the team to share knowledge.
• Contibute to smaller projects and coordinate work of external SAC-Developer and Backend Developer.
• Maintaining the documentation of implemented objects in knowledge data base.

Your profile

• University degree in information technology or similar technical degree, alternatively comparable professional experience gained in the consulting in the domain of SAP Analytics
• Overall minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP products
• Previous experience in BW/4 HANA
• Wide knowledge to implement transformation logics via AMDPs and ABAP
• Experience of enhancing and maintaining LSA++ data models in a BW/4 HANA
• Skilled to implement Calculation Views for different data models.
• SAC knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills especially for AMDPs and ABAP based transformations.
• Understanding/knowledge of BW related Authorizations is a plus.
• Autonomous work style and self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency; keep track of lessons learned and share lessons with team members.
• Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Work experience in global, corporate or medium-sized business environment in the chemical, petrochemical or automotive industries
• Fluent English
