The company specializes in the design and develop web and mobile applications for its clients worldwide (mainly the USA). The team provides individual programming solutions focusing on outstanding user experience. They have experience stretches from Cloud, Security, and UX Design to Big Analytics and the Internet of Things.

The goal of the project is the digitalization of the logistics industry, both on a macro and micro scale, by providing a platform for uniting the ones who require the logistics services with the ones who can provide them. The project aims to provide a comprehensive solution for communication, management, service, and many other functionalities, which are daily challenges for key players and small logistics companies. You will participate in migrating the Django monolith to modular architecture and microservices. Develop with the team new major and minor features. You also be responsible for growing a solid microservice architecture, our client is in the process of introducing service mesh, stable interfaces, and contracts for API, metrics, etc.
Technology stack: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

Requirements:

• very good communication in English (B2/C1)
• experience as a Developer especially in Python
• knowledge of relational database experience with PostgreSQL
• practical skills with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
• practical skills with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD
• work experience with TDD
• experience with Django
• nice to have knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform Services
