HR GO Recruitment is currently hiring a Progress 4GL /OpenEdge Developer for a American company that employes over 3500 people and provides ERP systems to finance, healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Our client is providing solutions to over 4,500 highly specialized organizations in more than 20 industries and over 80 countries in their everyday operations. 

We are recruiting to the new SSC created in Poland (Wrocław) with aspiring plans to grow to about 200 people in coming years.

This role can be 100% remote based or working in hybrid mode.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and test new software applications and solutions
• Build and assemble prototype versions of software applications and solutions as directed
• Write code, complete programming, and debug software applications and solutions
• Identify product requirements and potential improvements and discuss them with the Product Development Manager
• Participate in the complete software development life cycle from requirement gathering to deployment of the product
• Write and review documentation needed for installation, usage, and maintenance of applications and solutions

Job Requirements:

• Essential experience of developing desktop applications using Uniface 9 or a 4GL such as Gupta, Forte, Powerbuilder, or similar
• Experience with SQL databases, including TSQL (knowledge of advanced queries, triggers, and stored procedures is highly desirable)
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM products, including application types such as CRM, supply chain, logistics, retail B2C, and B2B
• Working knowledge of SSIS, including basic C# scripting, and .NET development using C#, DLL, and COM interop would be an advantage
• SQL DBA knowledge, SQL profiler, execution path analysis
