About the role
Newly created role in organisation by demand, you will be responsible for leading the definition of pricing models, building and maintaining a revenue management scheme that supports profitable growth. This is a global role reporting to Chief Marketing Officer in Luxemburg with focus on automation, standardisation of global approach
This role is part of the global team of 3 Pricing Managers with focus on USA and EU markets. The position is located at Process Excellence Centre in Wroclaw, Poland, and involves approximately 10% travel mainly to Luxemburg or Germany.
What you will do
- Understand current pricing models, define must have features, and identify improvement areas (pricing logic, price mechanisms)
- Collaboration with the Sales and Marketing regional organizations, build, recommend and deploy a global pricing models
- Propose and implement tools and KPI’s to monitor pricing performance in terms of market competitiveness and profitability
- Design the key processes supporting the revenue management logic and integrate them in internal Sales & Marketing Excellence program named WAM SME
- Lead the digital integration in close collaboration with IT (CPQ, ERP, pricing app,…)
- Drive change in the organization to implement a Value based pricing culture
Who you are
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally following an experience in Sales and/or Strategic Marketing, in an international environment, ideally on a global level
- Strong business acumen, understanding of commercial and marketing strategies as well as customers behaviours and pain points
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management ability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capacity to gather and interpret large amount of data
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, and the ability to associate strategic thinking and hands-on implementation skills
- Experience in B2B environments and in particular the construction materials industry and in working with distributors and wholesalers would be a clear plus
- Speaking and written fluent English
