Our client is a company specialising in Insurance systems. They are based South West of London. The company is expanding and looking to build a long term team in Wroclaw to work alongside their UK and Malaysian teams to enhance their insurance products.

The projects will be a mixture of new features, enhancements to existing modules as well as support and maintenance and many new integrations. The Company practices agile development, DevOps, utilises the Atlassian toolset and the operational platform is Cloud Native running on OpenShift / Kubernetes.

Senior Java Developer

Salary: 14.000 - 18.000 PLN gross (perm contract) (UoP)

Start date: October/November 2020

Requirements:

• BSc Computer Science or similar degree
• Very good English (C1) and Polish (C1), both written and spoken
• Minimum 4 years' experience as Java Developer
• Experience in efficient designing of corporate quality software, using established design patterns
• Strong Java, web applications and XML experience
• Experience with MSSQL, MySQL, or other similar relational database

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web application architecture
• Proactive involvement in code reviews, testing and bug fixing
• Efficient design of enterprise quality software, using established design patterns
• Continuous improvement of existing code base
• Cooperation with remote development teams in UK and Malaysia
• Mentor junior developers regarding programming practices and techniques
