For our prestigious client, global specialist in electric power conversion from Germany we are looking for a Senior Material Planner.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, schedules, releases and manages purchase, interplant orders and work orders as required,
• Participates in capacity review meetings with internal and external suppliers,
• Actively works on reducing inventory/lead times, support production improvements, and efficiencies,
• Mentors/trains level 1 Material Planners and internal/external suppliers,
• Coordinates all aspects of the supply chain escalation,
• Works with internal and external suppliers to resolve material issues (shortages, emergency customer demands, etc.),
• Quotes deliveries for sales requests,
• Develops and maintains communication channels between various departments to maintain the flow of materials to support the customer,
• Reviews, communicates and acts upon anticipated delays,
• Reviews, analyzes and implements replenishment targets to support "pull" system.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience,
• Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1),
• Bachelor's Degree,
• Expert knowledge of lot sizing, material planning and production scheduling,
• Expert knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning,
• Expert knowledge of planning functions/roles,
• Solid detail orientation and high organizational skills. Ability to manage several production lines at the same time,
• Ability to lead Continuous Improvement projects and groups in problem solving.
