About a role:
As a Software Engineer (Digital Systems) you will be a part of Global ONE IT team and specializing in technically managing and optimizing Product Information Management (PIM) system (ContentServ) and overseeing our E-Commerce platform (Adobe Commerce, formerly Magento). Your expertise will extend to Azure integration topics, acting as a backup resource for our integration engineer. You will also lead specific software development projects (.Net and C#), contributing significantly to our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development (50% working time)

• C# and .Net 

PIM (Contentserv)

• Serve as the technical authority on all aspects of our ContentServ PIM system, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Deepen your technical knowledge of the PIM system to independently configure and develop small tasks, enhancing system capabilities.
• Function as the liaison between the business, our hosting party, and our internal PIM team, facilitating effective communication and project coordination.
• Manage the development and implementation of a PIM customer interface, providing expert advice and resolving issues.
• Plan and coordinate major upgrades and small releases, and consider business requirements.

Adobe Commerce & Acquia

• Administer and manage our E-Commerce platform, Adobe Commerce (Magento), including system updates, user training, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee and serve as the technical expert for our website hosting platform, Acquia, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
• Act as the backup person for Azure Integration Topics, ensuring seamless continuity in our cloud services and integrations.
• Lead and manage various development projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timelines.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Ability to deepen technical knowledge in digital systems for independent task configuration and development.
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle and at best knowledge of coding languages like C#, and .NET.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing high volume web services using API Protocols and Data Formats (JSON, SOAP & XML).
• Strong project management skills with the capability to lead and execute development projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in documentation and technical writing.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in English.
