HR GO Recruitment is recruiting for a UK-based client who is the UK's leading Software-as-a-Service provider for general insurance. The client works with business brokers of major insurance companies like AXA, Zurich, and Aviva. For the last 20 years, working with brokers, insurers, and MGAs, they have helped create and shape the insurance market of today.

We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer with Angular. You will collaborate with a client from the United States.

What you bring to the role:

• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Expertise with Angular
• First experience with Ruby on Rails and willigness to learn it.
• Modern DevOps experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
• Love of building technology and teams
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and entrepreneurial
• Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles
• Experience with cloud providers
• Experience working with CI/CD tools
• Understanding of how to build for scale, but able to make pragmatic choices to move quickly You have a strong bias for action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones is a plus
