Technical Buyer with German
Main tasks:
- Proceed on-time procurement (mainly MRO spare parts and services)
- Close cooperation with warehouse and maintenance team
- Close cooperation with our suppliers – obtaining needed certificates, claims handling, etc.
- Close cooperation with strategic sourcing team
- Negotiate commercial conditions for ordered goods and services up to agreed threshold
- Initiate new suppliers onboarding process
- Invoices verification
- Be a first point of contact for requestors
- Manage buying channels
- Give input and participate in development projects
- Support effective implementation of new processes and digital solutions
- Conduct users trainings
- Manage supplier relationships, work on their service improvement, make sure the agreed quality changes are applied
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, business rules, policies and legal requirements
- Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and compliance
- Ensure contract availability and compliance
- Handle and support with claims
Who you are:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related area
- Min. 2 years’ experience in MRO purchases or maintenance team at production site
- Comfortable working with ERP systems (preferably SAP ARIBA)
- Fluent in English and German
- Experience from working in production environment
- Know to read technical drawings and understand certification requirements
- Solution-oriented with a problem solving mindset
- Have strong collaboration, influencing and team working skills with flexible, positive and proactive attitude towards changing environment
- Have ability and willingness to achieve own and team’s targets with provided timelines
- Self-management skills and are not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quo
