The Sales Development Representative is responsible for building and qualifying a pipeline of prospective new clients for the agency, working with the Growth Director/CEO to achieve revenue growth targets.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing a pipeline of prospective clients for Engineering services through outbound outreach on phone, email & LinkedIn, with KPIs of outreach volume and booking qualified meetings.
- Sourcing data and building segmented lists for outreach in line with target customer profile.
- Researching prospects' business, key contacts and using personalisation to drive response.
- Qualifying and booking meetings with inbound leads from marketing campaigns.
- Leading initial discovery to identify business requirements, demonstrating strong subject matter expertise in software engineering, AI in particular.
- Proactively work with Marketing and Engineering teams to develop sales enablement content (Guides, research, events), tailored at an industry/ persona level. Present back response metrics and areas of content improvement.
- Meticulously managing prospects through the cycle, maintaining target communication cadence and follow up.
- Supporting the Growth Director/CEO in the preparation of presentations, proposals and contracts.

- Confident in managing objections and driving commitment.
- Keen interest in software engineering, AI and data-driven decision making. Curious to learn about new products and approaches to solving for improved Digital performance.
- Continuous improvement mindset. You are adept at evaluating your own performance, open to feedback from others and take action to build your effectiveness.
- 2+ years' experience in a sales role within a similar environment, ideally agency or other B2B services. Customer Experience SaaS selling to Marketing or Product Management teams.
- Knowledge of common sales frameworks (e.g. MEDICC, BANT) and experience in tailoring and improving processes.
- Experience with research & CRM tools e.g. Hubspot, Apollo.io, SimilarWeb.
