Our client is a company specialising in insurance systems for the automotive industry. They are based in South West London. The company is developing and wants to build a long-term team in Wroclaw that will work with an internal German client. We are looking for an Analyst Developer with German Work location will be in Wroclaw Business Garden.

Technology Stack: various SQL based database engines in Windows systems (source), most often Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, MySql, MS Access, firebird database engine (target), existing conversion tools implemented in simple Object Pascal (Delphi)

Tasks:

* Perform data conversions using integrated tools for data importing tasks

* Ability to review and understand source and target system file and data structures to support conversion projects

* Find solutions to extract existing data from various external data sources

* Gather requirements, design, develop, and enhance a bespoke data transformation program

* Contribute to and create documentation about data mapping and transformation

* Work with business analysts and customers to achieve written user acceptance

* Building a relationship with the client

* The ability to analyse customer expectations

* Ready to work on weekends occasionally when performing actual live data conversions for large customers (~ 4 times/year - days are paid)

Requirements:

* Completed higher studies

* Strong verbal/ written communication skills in German

* 3+ years of experience as a developer in a high-level language (Delphi, C++, C# or Java)

* Comprehensive practical SQL skills

* Experience in accessing Windows server-based database engines

* Hands-on approach, enjoying an agile software development process

* Good communication in English is a plus
