HR Specialist with German

HR GO Recruitment is recruiting for our global American client a provider of ERP systems for food, retail, finance, healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies. Our client has their operation worldwide and employing over 3500 people. We are looking for a HR Specialist (12 months initial contract) to join building a new Share Service Center in Wroclaw. We are looking for a specialist, who has a customer-centric mindset, independent, highly motivated and is interested in supporting HR related topics for German and Austrian market.

Location: Business Garden, Wrocław
Working Mode: Hybrid
Duration: 12 months with option for extension/perm contract

About the role:
This newly created position is focused on the DACH region and will be working as part of a global HR team who work across 14 countries. It is essential you have worked in a globally aligned HR team and that you work collaboratively in sharing, creating and supporting initiatives and ideas. You must come from a business partner model; understanding how this structure supports the business while working in partnership with our centers of excellence

You will be responsible for: 

  • Business partner with the leadership team of the region, driving initiatives and supporting business delivery
  • Support and drive regional and global HR objectives
  • Support the successful integration and restructure of acquired businesses
  • Counsel, coach and drive leaders/ managers on talent issues including performance management, high potential employee identification, and poor performer reduction
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business in order to support it effectively
  • Partner with legal department to conduct confidential investigations into employee complaints and sensitive work-related issues, and act as an escalation point for employee conflicts and compliance issues
  • Monitor and review employment processes, policies and procedures to ensure alignment to Company’s goals and business objectives and maintain compliance with all federal, state and international employment laws
  • Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • ​​​​​​Fluency in English language min. B2 level
  • Fluency in German language  min. B2/C1 level
  • Previous HR experience preferably in tech environment 
  • Exposure to working in a multi-national environment
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, retention and engagement with deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and create solutions to address those issues
  • High level of integrity, fairness, and consistency in decision-making
  • Strong coaching, management and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence
  • Some travel expected to Germany and Austria
