About the role
The Quality Specialist is a key member of the quality assurance team, responsible for seamless and effective
handling of quality complaints, ensuring that all issues are thoroughly investigated, addressed, and
resolved in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The position requires strong cooperation
with production staff, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure compliance with industry
standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintaining process verification and analysis schedules
- Maintaining technical files, updating trackers and critical paths, artwork approval, responding to
- queries from the customer service team and providing admin support as needed
- Taking ownership of complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and agreed preventative actions
- Preparing statements for customers/ authorities related to the quality issues
- Writing product specifications for customers
- Providing support to multiple departments during audits
- Reviewing contracts to ensure that all quality-related requirements and standards are met
- Supporting packaging creation process to ensure that it meets all necessary quality standards,
- regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
- Supporting with daily quality inspection decisions with assistance from your Line Manager as
- needed, gaining experience, and increasing commercial awareness of all product categories
- Collating quality performance data, produce and issue reports monthly
Qualifications and skills
- Good French written and spoken is a must
- Fluent English written and spoken is a must
- Experience in the food/FMCG industry is required
- Min. 2 years of previous experience in a quality assurance environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Computer literacy and ability to easily navigate between different screens and systems
- Flexibility in adapting to a dynamic business environment
- Bachelor University Degree
- Lean/Six Sigma certificates would be an asset
