To support our Client's IT department and global SAP team, we are looking for a committed person to join the team as a SAP Basis Consultant.

As a SAP Basis Technology Consultant you will drive projects and also operational tasks in SAP technology portfolio of services, including SAP Basis, SAP Security and Authorizations, lifecycle or landscape management-related aspects. 

Working with a global technical team, you are flexible to adapt to dynamic environments, motivated to drive daily operations, provide recommendations and manage improvement initiatives across the landscape, with the goal of providing excellent system reliability and performance, along with maintaining system integrity and maximized uptime. 

  Your tasks

• Responsible for the implementation, administration & maintenance of Company's SAP landscape, including ECC,BW,SCM and SOLMAN along with non-SAP components
• Creation of a maintenance plan for our SAP landscape including Cut Over Plans and execution of the same
• Supporting during system copies and migrations
• Troubleshooting of complex issues and performance analysis
• Maintenance of the Fiori Front End Server and the Cloud Connector
• Creation of SAP authorization roles and assignment
• Knowledge of business process and security maintenance processes
• Close collaboration with our hosting partner to ensure a stable landscape
• Liaise with cross functional teams & business users to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Continuous technology radaring for emerging SAP technologies and innovations in areas of responsibility
• Structured, analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

Your profile

• University degree in business administration, information technology or similar technical degree, alternatively comparable professional experience
• Overall minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP consulting area
• Sound knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in all areas of SAP Basis or Technology-related domains
• Planning of Service Pack Updates including creation of cut over plans and to be the leader of these activities
• Good understanding of SAP application layer components and integrations
• Experience with SAP Fiori Frontend Server/Gateway, ODATA Services and SAP Cloud Connector
• Basic ABAP or LSMW knowledge considered an additional asset
• Autonomous work style and self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency; keep track of lessons learned and share lessons with team members
• Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• ITSM and project management standards including agile approach
• Fluent English, both written and spoken (German is a plus)
