HR GO Recruitment supports the British company in conducting recruitment processes. Our client cooperates with clients from the UK - they are an IT Consulting company responsible for the efficient development of client applications. We are looking for a Scala Developer who wants to join our client and support their projects. We offer long-term cooperation in outsourcing projects in the 100% remote model.
 

Projects: 
German client from the automotive industry. Our client creates an application that allows you to buy or sell cars. The application is extended with various functionalities, such as: checking the legality of the vehicle, service history, or the possibility of concluding an insurance package. The application is under development (external use). Small teams of several people working on a given functionality. A very cross-functional team, each person writes code, reviews, and conducts meetings. The entire team is doing a QA review.
 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the technical planning of projects and features
• Code reviews
• Participate in team-wide Smoke testing before releases
• Communicate and collaborate with other teams
   

Requirements:

• Experience as a Scala Engineer for at least 3-5 years
• Experience in Scala or Java Background and willingness to upskill to Scala
• Know how to build features for large-scale systems with bigger teams
• Experience in creating APIs
• Develop new features, add new properties, develop new endpoints, and some maintenance
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure 10-20% (DynamoDB) is a plus
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Pipelines
• Nice to have experience with: JavaScript/TypeScript, React
